Hi,
I had VNC installed on a W2K workstation behind linux firewall, and
everything worked great.
I tried to install the latest version of RealVNC on the system, and all
I would get was "your connection has been rejected"
after logging into the web based java veiwer. When I tried the VNC
Viewer application, VNC Viewer would
quietly stop running after I entered the password.
After searching and searching for a solution to the problem, I decided
to un-install the new version, and re-install
the version that I had working before. Now it will not work as well.
I have checked the ports, the password, turned off the service and
tried running in app mode/vice versa, and
still cannot connect.
HELP!
The Linux firewall has not changed at all during this process. I
should not have to since I used the same
ports on all of the installs of VNC.
Anyone have any ideas? I thought it might be screen resolution, but
that is not it.
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
